LiveOffice, the leading provider of software-as-a-service (SaaS) email archiving, email compliance and email continuity solutions, today reported record-setting revenues for the fourth quarter of 2009. The quarter’s top highlights included enhanced archiving support for each of the major cloud email providers, a rapidly growing partner channel and several large client wins.
“Our success in the fourth quarter is a testament to more and more organizations moving their email into the cloud. By deploying LiveOffice’s independent email archive, organizations are able to safely take a first step into the cloud without all of the risks traditionally associated with major IT migrations,” said Nick Mehta, CEO of LiveOffice. “We are absolutely committed to ensuring that our 10,000 clients are able to leverage the cloud to satisfy their email needs with partners like Microsoft, Cisco, Google, Intermedia, Apptix and others.”
Fourth-quarter highlights include:
- Enhanced LiveOffice CloudMerge platform: CloudMerge offers a secure, open and complete archiving platform that is compatible with each of the major cloud email providers. It also seamlessly integrates with on-premise email solutions, making it the first email archiving solution to work seamlessly with all different types of email platforms. In addition, LiveOffice’s secure cloud archive acts as an insurance policy for any email environment by ensuring 24-7-365 availability of mission-critical email with built-in email continuity. CloudMerge supports the following cloud email solutions, among others: 123Together, AppRiver, Apptix, Azaleos, Cisco WebEx Mail, Google Apps (Premier), Intermedia, Microsoft Exchange Online, PanTerra Networks, USA.NET and VMware Zimbra (as well as all major on-premise messaging servers). In addition, the platform supports any email solution leveraging the POP or IMAP protocols, including personal email accounts, such as Gmail, Yahoo! Mail and Windows Live Hotmail.
- LiveOffice Personal Archive and LiveOffice Discovery Archive for BlackBerry®: LiveOffice provides mobile warriors with on-the-go access to their email archives, even when their primary mail server is unavailable. The first-of-its-kind BlackBerry app lets users access and search an unlimited number of archived emails and attachments. It also includes archiving support for call log files as well as SMS and PIN-to-PIN messages. In addition, the app allows for each of these archived components to be quickly retrieved for legal discovery requests or internal investigations, all directly from their BlackBerry.
- IP restriction feature: This new feature adds a higher level of protection for clients’ archived messages. With this extra layer of protection, administrators can identify single IP addresses, or even an IP range, as trusted or untrusted – guaranteeing that only authorized users have access to the archive. Access restrictions are easily created via LiveOffice’s powerful Administrator Console.
- Policy-based encryption: With this service, clients are able to encrypt messages in transit based on pre-set policies, ensuring that sensitive information is not intercepted and misused.
- Expanded partner roster: The record fourth quarter was also highlighted by the continued expansion of LiveOffice’s Partner Program. The company added key managed service providers (MSPs), value-added resellers (VARs) and global system integrators (GSIs) to its already expansive partner roster. This growth had a significant impact on revenue generated throughout the quarter.
- Large client wins: LiveOffice closed several large deals with multi-thousand employee enterprises. These organizations deployed LiveOffice’s archiving solutions to meet regulatory requirements while also satisfying their mailbox management and legal discovery needs. In addition, the company saw an increased interest in LiveOffice Personal Archive. This service enables end users to quickly search for and retrieve permanently deleted messages, directly from their Microsoft Outlook or Lotus Notes email client.
- Industry recognition: LiveOffice recently earned a top spot on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences and clean technology companies in North America. LiveOffice’s ranking was based on its 222-percent increase in fiscal-year revenue growth during the five-year period from 2004–2008.
